WOYWW 196

On my work desk this week are lots of pieces of tape that I have decorated for using in my journals.  Purchased tape is lovely, but making your own is so satisfying, and you can make use of all your own stamps as well.   I have used masking tape from the £1 shop, and then used Tim Holtz Distress Stains or acrylic paint to cover the tape, then stamped and decorated over the top.

Greaseproof paper is the best way of storing the tape once it is finished.
It is then ready for use when you need it

I keep mine in those see through plastic sheets that fit inside a ring binder.
That way they stay safe and don't stick to each other.

Tried to put these two images side by side, but couldn't manage it.
Below are two  pages from my recent journal using some of the tapes.
I have only done 46 pages so far, so am looking forward to filling it.
Now over to Julia's place to see what everyone else is doing.
