I treated myself to the latest copy of the fabulous 'Somerset Studio' magazine, and decided to have a go at the little fabric dolls featured inside. Here is my attempt. They are made of muslin and then coated with two coats of gesso, left to dry, and then painted in acrylic paints. I had such fun doing these, and just have legs to do for the large one and arms to finish for the smallest one. They will keep me company on my workdesk, though I doubt I have much room for anything else.
The article finished with the words 'Give them names, and get to know them better'. I might call them Bliss, Bridget and Ursula, three characters from one of my favourite Dr. Who stories.
Now over to Julia's place to see what is happening. Why not join us on http:??stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/, and have a happy WOYWW
