WOYWW 197

 I have been working on an 'Artist Says' swap of 8 in No. 4" x 4" pages.  The idea is that the first person decides what everyone is to do with the background, and then each day another swapper chooses something for you to add to the page.  After eight days the cards are finished and ready to swap.

 These are the cards I have now finished, and the last direction for the pages was 'add fibers', hence all the fibres on my desk this week.
This was a great swap to do, and I loved the anticipation of waiting for the next 'directions' wondering where the page would be going.  My directions on day 3 were 'add a stamped image of a bird' and day 7 'add up to three words to describe some of the feel of your page'.   I am pleased that they turned out OK, as this was the first swap of this kind I have done.

    I love the idea of this swap, I love that you got given different direct each day and I really love the cards that you have made they are fantastic so much colour, so many layers and so much texture. LOVE LOVE LOVE

    What a fun idea! I've heard of round robin quilts but nothing like this...and i love your collection of fibers. They just add so much to any piece I think. They combine color, texture and dimension. The cards are great...Have a good week!!
