I have been making some flower tags, but couldn't find any large brads that I liked, so decided to try and make some from Sculpey. When I had baked them I painted them in acrylic paints and then rubbed Treasure Gold wax gilt over the design I had inscribed on them before baking. I now have a box full and they cost very little.
Thought they looked nice on pieces of blue card, so here they are.
Some of the brads in use. Had great fun doing them. Now over to Julia's place to see what fun you all have been having. http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/
Ooh love how you used polymer clay for the brads! Would have never thought of that!
